Our general dentist, Dr. Greg Kilbane, treats patients of all ages with services geared toward the general maintenance of oral hygiene and healthy teeth. We also are your first line of defense against oral issues, so we utilize the technology necessary to sustain healthy living teeth, also known as preventative dentistry. We use Digital X-Rays, which have 80% less radiation than traditional X-Rays, and Digital Intraoral Cameras, which are capable of showing you quickly and clearly what problem(s) may exist.
We also use the revolutionary iTero Digital Impression System, which allows you to have a much more comforting experience and provides you with an accurate fitting and longer lasting restoration. This new technology takes a high definition picture to create a highly accurate 3-D model of the teeth. A digitally accurate restoration is then created from this model. This system has brought our patients to a new level of clinical results and comfort.
Periodontal disease (gum disease) is quite common and can have a big impact on the health of your teeth, gums, and overall health, too. Gum disease can impact several areas of your health and put you at an increased risk for a number of problems. As your healthcare provider, we like to address these concerns and offer a variety of Professional Dental Care Products at cost to our patients.
Cosmetic and Reconstructive Dentistry
Over recent years, cosmetic dentistry has increased in popularity and is now a familiar dental treatment. With this type of dentistry, we offer the following services: dental crown, dental bridge, full and partial dentures, root canal therapy, teeth whitening, and porcelain veneers.
Your face is what shows your personality, and your smile is the avenue which projects your happy feelings. Many individuals hide their smile because their teeth are dull, chipped, yellow, or crooked. Needless to say, with the cosmetic services we offer, we can steal your confidence right back. We all deserve to smile with self-assurance and comfort.
Under special circumstances and emergency situations, we do offer oral surgery care. While many people have a normal fear of oral dental surgery, some individuals have more difficulty tolerating treatment than others. Therefore, we offer three different forms of sedation: Nitrous Oxide Sedation, Conscious Sedation (one pill), and I.V. Sedation. It is our priority that our patients feel comfort, safety, and security while receiving the best dental care needed. We do treat children as well.
If a trip to the dentist causes you to become anxious or even if you may have a severe case of phobia, our Conscious Sedation Dentistry provides you a safe and effective way to get the dental care that you deserve. Sedation is a process used to establish a relaxed, easy, and calm state through the use of sedatives. Sedative drugs can be administered in a variety of ways; however, the most common is in a form of a pill that is taken before the visit to soothe your nerves. Given that Dr. Kilbane is on the board for The Academy of Laser Dentistry, we also have a surgical CO2 Laser and Diode Laser, which are used in procedures to help eliminate common problems with surgical procedures, including substantially decreased pain, bleeding, and healing time. It is a promise to our valued patients that we will tolerate unpleasant procedures while maintaining cardiorespiratory function.
