Dr. Gregory Kilbane

FamilyDr. Kilbane graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1971, and has been committed to continuing his education over the past 43 years to provide State-of-the-Art care for his patients. He believes that it is his responsibility to give each of his patients the information that they deserve in order to make an educated choice for their dental care. For over 40 years, he has developed the skills to provide major reconstructive care for patients with worn dentition, head and neck pain, and TMJ dysfunction. As a member of DOCS (Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation), Dr. Kilbane has a permit granted by the Kansas Dental Board to provide conscious sedation for his patients that are fearful due to past dental experiences.

Dr. Kilbane was recently nominated and elected to membership in the International College of Dentists, which less than 4% of American Dentists are offered membership. As a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, he is on the Region 12 Board of Directors, has been a member of the Exam Council for over nine years, writes and administers the Fellowship Examination for the AGD, and is the current President of the Kansas AGD. On top of this, he is also a member of the Southwest Region of The National Dental Practice-Based Research Network and The Academy of Laser Dentistry. At Sunflower Dental, he and his team have a passion in providing outstanding dental care to each of their valued patients.

Dr. Kilbane is married to his lovely wife, Carol, who is a passionate elementary school teacher. Together they have two grown children, Colin and Corey. Colin teaches Chemistry and Robotics at Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis, MN. Colin and his wife, Amanda, who is a Mechanical Engineer, have a nine month old son, Carl. Corey teaches Chemistry at William Penn Charter in Philadelphia. He also serves as the 3D Printing Educator at The Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C.
